Service Dept Manager

  A challenging position is available in our Commercial Service Department for PSEC's new office. 4 + years of electrical service work management experience in the HOA and Condominium Property Management market is preferred. Basic computer skills, Master Electrician License, leadership skills are required

GENERAL
      SAFETY FRIST - Knowledge and implementation of current OSHA safety requirements and additional safety practices or procedures as employed by PSEC.
      ATTITUDE - PSEC supports the belief that successful employment relationships are built on a positive attitude and common sense first and everything else second.
      DRUG FREE - PSEC is a drug free work place
DESIRED SKILLS and DUTIES
      HID LIGHTING - Working knowledge of lighting upgrades and service of existing lighting systems.
      GROUND FAULT LOCATION - Knowledge of underground conductors and supply systems up to 750 MCM at 480 volts 3 phase. Knowledge of underground conductor fault location and megger equipment. Knowledge of conductor insulation values and relationship to ground faults and repairs of same.
      SERVICE WORK - Experience in electrician daily job scheduling. Supervise day-to-day work performed by field staff. Clients shall be notified of current job status and progress in writing, client shall approve work in progress.
      FIRE ALARMS - A working knowledge of system upgrades and service of existing systems.
      ESTIMATES - Knowledge of residential, commercial, multifamily, HID lighting, fire alarms, motor controls application. Provide timely and accurate estimates as requested by PSEC clients.
      TOOLS - Knowledge and maintenance of PSEC equipment, cable tracing & test equipment, trencher, hand tools, fault locators, etc. Assist with Employee training regarding the correct use of equipment used in the course of work performed by PSEC.
      NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE - Knowledge of the current N.E.C and local code requirements.
      LICENSE - Shall be licensed in the jurisdictions in which primary work is supervised.
      MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT - Knowledge of common electrical equipment, components, motor controls, HID lighting & wiring devices. Order materials or stock as required for timely completion of work orders.
